Like our #1 product, the creators of Outpost Firewall Pro look beyond standard firewall protection (monitoring intruders and hiding your computer online). Outpost Firewall Pro offers other ways to protect you from more subtle intruders from everyday Internet use, such as cookies, banners, ads and pornography. A complete package, Outpost Firewall Pro controls these nuisances for you.

For the more experienced users only & I can't recommend it just yet for those with notebooks. I'd wait till the next version is released to install it on Vista. But I can say this, "they work hard at this firewall & I'm sure it will become better & more user friendly in the future".

Great HIPS (Anti-Leak Component); from experience and according to matousec it's almost Leak-Proof and they managed to keep it pretty easy.
Port Stealthing, Entertainment Mode, Training and Auto-Learn Mode,.

It killed my antivirus, spyblockers and adblocker programs. It disabled my modem and killed all lan connectioons. I could not get any thing configured, even after reading the download PDF help file I got before installing. WOFTAM.

Outpost is very qualitative product with a bunch of useful features. I liked its interface very much but the best about the newest version of Outpost is that it requires less resources and it is much faster than other firewalls. One more important thing about Outpost is that it can be used even by beginner users, they just should set all the settings as default and rest assure against any malware attack.

Outpost is a very tight firewall. It can prevent any malware attack. There are a lot of features in Outpost it means that you can adjust absolutely everything. It uses less resources than most quality firewalls. Besides new Outpost has self protection that prevents it from being shut down by malware. The one and only disadvantage of Outpost is that it can be a little difficult for beginners

If you want true outbound firewall protection for your 32-bit Vista PC, use this to help manage Vista's built-in firewall.

This free firewall received top ratings for stopping unwanted outbound connections.

Great software firewall been using for years now. Good addon to your router that helps protect from outgoing/incoming requests.

I like it much better then ZoneAlarm over packed software.

Also using Ad-Aware Pro + AvG Anti-Virus too!

I totally dislike software firewalls. ZoneAlarm has become bloatware over the years. Hardware firewalls or routers are much better. You can protect every computer on your network, instead of having to setup a software firewall on every computer. Plus hardware firewalls act as a first line of defense for your network and can stop DOS attacks and other junk like that.
